As a Mentor

Have mentored 3 Master of students toward their Masters' theses on hybrid light-matter states

Kishan Menghrajani obtained his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Exeter where he was primarily interested in exploring the strong coupling between the vibrational modes of molecules and infra-red surface plasmons.

His research spans the broad umbrella of Light-Matter interactions. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow working with Prof. Graham Leggett and with Prof. Bill Barnes on designing synthetic biological control of quantum optics

He has recently joined Monash University as Research Fellow with Prof. Stefan Maier.

His skill set revolves around energy-momentum spectroscopy, nanofabrication techniques, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, and numerical electrodynamic modeling. He is self motivated researcher with demonstrated expertise in interdisciplinary research areas.
